Lingston Nyirenda Family

Lingston Nyirenda not in the picture as he was out looking for work and his wife Ruth have three daughters and one son. Lingston and Ruth live in a brick-walled, grass-thatched, and clay-floored house. 

Transformation Plan

Lingston and Ruth dream of having enough food for a whole year and a house that is iron-roofed and cement-floored. Pamoza seeks to encourage character change and the family’s involvement in income-generating ventures. Pamoza will also help the household to attain food security, and will teach them the importance of taking steps toward better hygiene in their home. The critical role of education in their lives will be explained and reinforced, and the family will be encouraged to take advantage of any educational opportunities.
