It’s time for the Double-the-Blessings Challenge—our annual matching campaign where your gift is matched dollar for dollar through December 31. This year, a group of generous donors has committed to match $50,000 of your contributions.
Your support helps people like Gogo Zgambo, a 74-year-old grandmother who walked four hours—twice—to reach our vision clinic for help with her fading sight. After her son and daughter-in-law died, she was left to raise her two grandchildren, ages 7 and 9, on her own—even as her eyesight was failing.
Long difficult journeys like Gogo’s are common because Pamoza is the only organization providing comprehensive health, education, and agricultural services in an area of roughly 45,000 people.
When I first met Gogo, my heart broke as I told her she had arrived on the wrong day—after walking four hours to reach us. But she was determined. She made the four-hour trek again the very next day and was among the first to arrive. At our clinic, she received an eye exam, treatment for early-stage glaucoma, and the kindness of our team—who shared food with her before she began the long walk home. Gogo has the kind of determination and spirit we see every day.
This is why your support matters so deeply:
Your generosity provides life-saving medical care, agricultural training that fights hunger, educational opportunities for youth and adults, and the hope of Christ for families facing terribly challenging circumstances as costs rise and services are cut throughout Malawi.
And right now, your impact can go twice as far.
💛 From now through December 31, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000.
Your support is sustaining families amid national funding cuts and growing uncertainty. But here is the good news: Pamoza has never relied on government grants. More than 80% of our support comes from compassionate individuals like you, and another 10% from income-generating activities led by our staff in Malawi. Your gift today will help ensure families like Gogo’s have access to the care and support they need.
